SEO Specialist

We're in search of an agency and SEO experienced, results-driven, and energetic search engine strategist to serve as an SEO Specialist and organic traffic generation expert to help service our large and small B2B and B2C clients across a very diverse client portfolio.
WHAT YOU'LL DO DAY-TO-DAY
- Assist in new business development through SEO audits and analysis and scope of work created for potential new clients
- Communicate SEO strategy, report on organic website performance, and be the day-to-day contact for any client-related SEO questions
- Evaluate existing websites and document adjustments to bring up usability and SEO best practices
- Research keyword phrases to identify the most beneficial opportunities for targeting
- Use your SEO Analyst expertise to create a strategy to target keyword phrases – both on-page and off-page
- Track all keyword phrases and website pages to allow for analysis of trends in traffic and exposure
- Cultivate relationships and partnerships with journalists, publishers, and digital influencers.
- Pitch creative outreach campaign ideas and content initiatives focused on earned media placements
- Test and identify best practices for campaign performance, including A/B testing subject lines and improving open and response rates on follow-up emails
- Promote high-quality, data-driven campaigns from a proven, successful team process
- Stay up to date on the latest algorithm updates, industry trends, and news

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 2+ years working in search engine marketing or digital marketing, ideally in an SEO-focused role
- Deep knowledge and understanding of the latest shifts and requirements in SEO
- Proficient in Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Webmaster tools
- Experience using SEMRush, Ahrefs, Moz, or Majestic. Mailchimp and Buzzstream a plus
- Adept at client-facing communication, including communication of SEO strategy and SEO campaign performance
- Experience working with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress, Magento, or Hubspot is a strong plus
- Experience targeting specific goals, focused metrics, and KPIs when setting SEO strategy. Be prepared to discuss specific accounts, strategies, and achievements
- Experience assembling reports in Google Data Studios or PowerPoint format; ability to use data to tell a story when reporting to clients on SEO campaign performance
- Knowledge of Hubspot, Ahrefs, SEMrush, ScreamingFrog, and the manufacturing industry is a strong plus
- Knowledge of PPC campaign management is a strong plus but not required
- Some knowledge of HTML coding is a strong plus, but not required

Our Paid Media Specialist will serve as a client liaison, developing and managing a portfolio of PPC accounts and marketing campaigns, building great relationships, managing projects and deliverables, and growing accounts. You’ll serve as both the client’s representative to our internal team and as the face of PBJ Marketing in all client interactions.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Maintain ongoing, proactive, and consistent communications with clients on account progress, performance, and problem resolution
- Develop multi-channel, fully integrated Paid Digital Marketing campaigns and strategies, including Search, Display, Social, Video, etc.
- Leverage several on and offline tools to carry out analysis and to maximize efficiency and effectiveness of Paid Media accounts
- Actively test and analyze paid search ad copy to achieve maximum ROI
- Execute and analyze monthly paid media business metrics, budgets, and reports
- Research and evaluate paid marketing efforts and identify new campaign opportunities
- Track paid media best practices, bid management systems, keyword developments, and industry trends
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 1-2 years of experience working on Google Search, Display, Microsoft Ads, Paid Social advertising (Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads).
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Marketing or any relevant major.
- Agency experience is preferred.
- Advanced web skills, proficiency with Excel, search engine interfaces, and ad platforms.
- Ability to demonstrate analytical skills, technical knowledge, and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Train and manage Paid Media specialists of the team.

We are seeking an agency-experienced, results-driven, and energetic Technical SEO Specialist to become a part of PBJ's growing SEO team.
What you’ll do as our Technical SEO Specialist:
- Develop, manage, and implement best practice technical SEO strategies. This can include optimized metadata, internal/external linking, schema markup, canonicalization, site speed, Core Vitals, sitemaps, URL structure, crawl errors, redirects, site structure, and more.
- Work in collaboration with the other members of the SEO team to create and execute a holistic SEO strategy.
- Communicate technical SEO strategy, report on website performance, and assist in the day-to-day contact for any client-related technical SEO questions.
- Analyze performance and conduct ongoing technical audits, identify technical limitations, analyze site health and recommend and implement strategies.
- Identify opportunities and analyze key performance indicators in the marketplace to improve search visibility, and consistently improve engagement resulting in qualified traffic through organic search.
- Work with developers (in-house and client) to implement codes, pixels, schema, metadata, and troubleshoot other technical issues.

What our Technical SEO Specialist will bring to the table:
- 3-5 years working specifically as a technical SEO specialist or strategist
- Deep knowledge and understanding of the latest shifts and requirements in Google and SEO.
- Deep knowledge and understanding of the various technical elements of a site and how you can leverage them to improve a site’s technical SEO.
- Proficient in Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Core Vitals, and Webmaster tools.
- Experience using SEMRush, Moz, Screaming Frog, and other industry tools.
- Adept at client-facing communication, including communication of SEO technical strategy and SEO technical performance.
- Experience working with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress, Squarespace, Webflow, Magento, or Hubspot is a strong plus
- Experience targeting specific goals, focused metrics, and KPIs when putting together a technical SEO audit and strategy.
- Experience assembling reports in Google Data Studios or PowerPoint format; ability to use data to tell a story when reporting to clients on technical SEO performance. Be prepared to discuss specific accounts, strategies, and achievements.
