Paid Media Manager

We are seeking an experienced, full-time Paid Media Manager who is hungry for success. The Paid Media Manager participates in all aspects of clients’ paid media campaigns including kick-offs, building accounts, strategic planning, implementation, monitoring, optimizing, data analysis, and reporting.

Our new Paid Media Manager will serve as a client liaison, developing and managing a portfolio of Paid Media accounts and marketing campaigns, build great relationships, manage projects and deliverables, and grow accounts. You’ll serve as both the client’s representative to our internal team and as the face of PBJ Marketing in all client interactions.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop multi-channel, fully integrated Paid Digital Marketing campaigns and strategies, including Search, Display, Social, Video, and Mobile
  • Build & optimize Google search, remarketing & display campaigns for a roster of B2C, B2B, e-commerce, non-profit, and lead generation clients across various industries
  • Manage Google and Bing shopping campaigns, work with Merchant Center and product feeds
  • Actively test and analyze keywords, advertising copy, landing pages and positioning to drive results in line with clients’ goals
  • Execute and analyze monthly paid media business metrics, budgets, and reports
  • Research and evaluate paid marketing efforts and identify new campaign opportunities
  • Track paid media best practices, bid management systems, keyword developments, and industry trends
  • Think creatively to develop innovative tactics and strategies that drive results
  • Leverage several on and offline tools to carry out analysis and to maximize efficiency and effectiveness of Paid Media accounts
  • Track paid media best practices, bid management systems, keyword developments, and industry trends
  • Execute and analyze monthly paid media business metrics, budgets, and reports
  • Create quarterly business reviews & other client-facing presentations that outline performance, insights from testing, and key strategic opportunities
  • Maintain ongoing, proactive and consistent communications with clients on account progress, performance results, strategy recommendations and problem-solving

 

 

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • 4-year college degree or equivalent work experience
  • 2+ years of paid search experience, with in-depth knowledge of Google, Bing, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn advertising platforms.
  • Google Ads and Bing Ads Certified
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and trend analysis, pivot tables, vlookups, and large data analysis
  • Familiar with Google Analytics and analyzing data to improve metrics
  • For Lead Gen: Familiar with CRM’s such as Salesforce and understand how to extract valuable data for profit-driven optimization
  • For e-commerce: Familiar with Google Merchant Center, feeds, and supplemental feeds
  • Google Ads: Familiar with Rules, Automation, and Scripts is a plus
  • Previous agency experience a plus
  • Leadership experience in some capacity, either professionally or personally
  • An open mind – You’re always looking to develop new skills, pondering how you could improve existing processes, and receptive to a change in the status quo
  • Passion for Paid Search – you read/contribute blogs, articles, case studies to continuously learn in order to keep up with the latest trends
  • Outgoing personality with amazing communication and writing skills
  • Ability to demonstrate analytical skills, technical knowledge and attention to detail
  • Excellent written, interpersonal, communication + public speaking/presentation skills
  • Ability to write and leverage scripts
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail; ability to multitask
  • Solid time management skills and strong ability to prioritize workload
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, open, entrepreneurial environment
